Asian Restaurant Umami

We ate there yesterday. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was wonderful. The prices were perfectly reasonable. We'd happily go back. 😍

The Asia Restaurant in Papenburg is simply fantastic! We had a wonderful evening there and were thrilled. The food was incredibly delicious, and the selection for €22 was truly enormous—there's something for every taste. We were particularly impressed by the service: the staff were always polite and friendly, and plates were always cleared away in a flash. We really don't understand why some people only give it one star. Every time we're here, everything is absolutely top-notch! It's definitely worth a visit!

Super delicious food, only the sushi is not so recommended :) Sometimes you have to wait a little longer for the staff to come to you, but otherwise the atmosphere is really nice! The food was really tasty and the staff was super friendly too!

We visited the restaurant without a reservation and were immediately seated by the window without delay. The buffet is varied and offers everything from soups and salads to various main courses and desserts like tiramisu and ice cream. At the grill counter, meat, fish, and vegetables are freshly prepared with a wide selection of sauces, depending on your taste. The dishes are then brought to your table. The service was friendly and attentive. We had a lovely evening, with excellent value for money...

The food is, as always, delicious, fresh, and hot. The buffet itself also offers a good selection of different items. There's a small salad bar, as well as sushi, fried foods, and various meats in sauces. The sauces themselves are equally delicious. We were there for the lunch buffet on a Saturday around 1 p.m. It's usually quiet at this time, as the first 12 p.m. rush has already left the restaurant, full. We were greeted quickly, had our choice of seats, and our drinks were brought. Unfortunately, it took a very long time for our used plates to be removed this time. Furthermore, countless plates and small bowls were dirty. The floor was also sticky in many places. Our next table also looked used, but no one came to clean it while we were away. I'm sure the staff there are already doing their best, so we were disappointed that we didn't feel comfortable due to the hygiene issues. We'd also like to point out that the new drinks menu is really great. Addendum: November 9, 2024 I have to adjust my rating from 3* to 5*. The food today was hot, everything was very clean, and the service was very fast and friendly. The food tasted wonderful and everything was great. Keep it up!

We regularly go to the lunch buffet, and there's always plenty of food, or rather, it's regularly refilled. The food is delicious and the selection is excellent—there's something for every taste. The service is attentive and friendly. The ambiance is pleasant, and I highly recommend the lunch buffet! We will definitely be back again.

This restaurant is highly recommended. We hadn't expected to find such a great restaurant during our trip. The buffet has everything and more than we expected. You can have fresh fish and shrimp prepared a la minute, not to mention the regular dishes. Everything tastes fresh and simply delicious.

One point deducted for the service, as some items were brought to the table incorrectly due to a misunderstanding. This isn't a problem, as the staff are generally friendly and accommodating. Otherwise, the buffet is very extensive and delicious. The price for the buffet is perfectly reasonable.

It's a wonderful place to eat. We've been there several times. You get a friendly welcome right away. Great seating. Everything is very clean and tidy. The buffet is excellent 👍 Everything is there. Fresh vegetables and top-quality meats and fish. Everything is excellent. And very family-friendly. Kids are absolutely not a problem there. Highly recommended 🙏
